The NSW Mud Trial Championships are happening in Collarenebri!

When: Sunday 26th March 2023.

Where: Collarenebri Mud Trial Track - Gwydir Highway (Walgett side).

Time: Gates open 6:00am. Racing commences at 8:00am

Plenty of roaring engines, mud caked drivers, and enthusiastic spectators.

Each driver has to complete as many laps as possible during a set time without becoming bogged in a huge muddy hole. But half the fun as a spectator is watching the tractor drag them out!!!

It’s hard to keep track when the vehicles are muddy and zooming past but if you want to keep score this is how it works:

- Ten points are scored for every lap

- But each time a vehicle gets bogged in one of the scoring holes, four points gets deducted.

- Every time a vehicle gets bogged, the Chainee (Co-pilot) then jumps out into the mud and hooks a chain from the tractor to the vehicle. The tractor will then tow the vehicle out of the mud hole.

People as far as Serena, Rockhampton, Roma, Boomi, Moree, Tamworth & further travel to compete in this event.

The best of the best will have those big V8 engines revving, hearts racing, and the mud flying everywhere at Collarenebri !!! Don't miss the action.
