The Country Championships are coming back to Coonamble!

Come and experience the fun, fashion and excitement of country racing!

The Newhaven Park Western District Country Championships sees the best horses in the west compete for the lion's share of $150,000 with $500,000 final at Royal Randwick.

For regular race-goers and rookies alike, you can enjoy the spectacle from the historic grandstand or gardens while enjoying the bar and catering facilities of the Coonamble Race Course.

Country Champs Calcutta

When: 6pm, Saturday 16th March 2024

Where: Terminus Hotel, Coonamble

Option 1: $40 per person meal and reserved seating tickets: doors open at 6pm and you will have a seated alternate drop DELICIOUS meal, prepared by our chef Gerry! A complimentary glass of wine on arrival. Tables seated closest to the action! The calcutta horse draw and auction will commence after dinner has been served and cleared.

$5 from each ticket will be donated to the charity chosen for the night.

Option 2: If you wish to skip our reserve seating and meal option but want to be apart of the horse auction you do not need to purchase a ticket. Once our ticket holders have completed their meals and introductions (APPROX 7.30-8PM) the doors will open to the general public for free so you can be apart of the horse draw. Please note: you will not be allocated a table to sit on, this will be general admission (standing) only.
