LAWN MOWER RACING

This year we will be holding the 6th annual anticipated running of the Lawn Mowers at the Coonamble Show.

The race will be a relay event with a three-member team. Each member of the team will have to complete a lap of the circuit. The competition is going to be high so polish up your mower and give our steward Henry Moxham a call to register.

SHOWGIRL, JUNIOR SHOWGIRL & TINYTOTS

The Showgirl competition has been run in Coonamble since in 1965 after the Royal Agricultural Society introduced the Miss Show Girl Quest in 1962. But it wasn't until Miss Margot Hannah placed third in 1968 that a Coonamble girl got among the places. In 1974 Miss Sue Godwin won the competition and won a round-the-world trip. While there are no around-the-world trips on offer this year a successful contestant at the Royal Show could come home with $10,000 in prizes. It all starts by entering the 2024 Coonamble Showgirl competition.
