The Walgett Markets are back!

Where: Apex Park, Walgett

When: 9am-12pm Saturday 26th November 2022

For fresh food, irresistible treats, unique gifts and endless bargains, there's nothing quite like a market and after a year of cancelled plans, Walgett's Outdoor Community Markets are coming back, and our plan is to welcome them in with a bang! With the NAIDOC Awards ceremony and Luncheon on at the Walgett Sporting Club from 11am we are shifting our usual market time to 2:30pm - 7pm so everyone can enjoy both events and avoid FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). 

We're going to take the opportunity to celebrate Father's Day & the beginning of Spring with some fabulous musical entertainment, food trucks and stalls and a great atmosphere, bring along your picnic blanket or grab one of the tables and chairs dotted around Apex Park and spoil Dad to an early father's day treat (Our mix of stalls will also be able to help you out with those last minute gift ideas as well)! 

Help Us give the Markets a little "Glow Up" if you have a stall or a food truck or are an entertainer, please get in touch with Council's Senior Visitor Information Centre to secure your spot. It's FREE to exhibit at the Walgett Markets and we would love to have you join us.
