Harry Ferguson brought his business, Mortimer Co. Contract Harvesting & Mechanical, to Coonamble in early 2017 after eight years as a contractor to mining operations from Muswellbrook to Mudgee and a stint as a head mechanic for Chesterfield Australia's Coonamble workshop.

As a mobile service Mortimer Co. is set up to be self-sufficient with all the vital equipment from a tray-mounted crane to a snakebite kit.

He also has an indoor workshop off King Street, Coonamble.

Harry works on anything from stationary engines to earthmoving gear and farm equipment.

As well as mechanical repairs, Harry offers auto electrical and air-conditioning services.
