Warren Shire Council will be commencing roadworks in two Oxley Highway Rail Level Crossing and Warren Roundabout.

Please note that changes have been made to the previously announced road works schedule due to forecasted rainfall.

📍 Warren Roundabout (Dubbo Street / Oxley Highway)

• • New Schedule:
  • 🕕 Night works – 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM
  • 📅 Tuesday 24 June to Thursday 26 June
  • Detours will be in place during work hours.

📍 Oxley Highway Rail Level Crossing

• • New Schedule:
  • 🕘 Daytime works – 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • 📅 Monday 7 July to Wednesday 9 July
  • No detours – traffic control and signage will be in place.

The projects involve asphalt rehabilitation designed to enhance road safety, improve durability and ensure a smoother driving experience for all road users.

Motorists are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly, follow all road work signage and allow extra time for travel.

Council’s Mayor, Greg Whiteley, said the night works reflect Council’s continued focus on road safety and community convenience.

“We’ve got a great team working behind the scenes to keep our roads safe and in good shape. Doing this work at night means less disruption for everyone during the day.”
