About the Opportunity
An exciting new role for an experienced, proactive and engaged Aboriginal Health Worker has recently been added to our clinical healthcare team at the Bogan Shire Medical Centre.
We are looking for someone who can collaborate with our clinical team, allied health providers, and agencies to deliver culturally safe and accessible clinical and primary healthcare services to First Nations peoples including acting as a link to other healthcare services.
The ideal applicant will be able to promote awareness and prevention of chronic disease, develop and implement care plans, undertake community engagement including providing health education and promotional activities, and advocate for the cultural and health needs of Aboriginal patients.
Salary Benefits
• Remuneration at Grade 4 of Council’s salary system ($1,172.03 - $1,356.80 per week) depending on qualifications and experience
