Council is looking for a keen and self-motivated team player to join their Water/Wastewater team. This position reports directly to the Senior Water and Waste Water Operator and plays a key role in assisting with the safe and efficient operation of the Water and Sewerage systems.

You’ll also carry out mechanical maintenance and repair of plant and infrastructure (drainage, water supply, and sewerage) and equipment items used in various Council operations as well as chemical sampling and testing/dosage calculations.

On the job training for the technical aspects of the role is provided – enabling you to obtain relevant qualifications while you work.

• Remuneration at Grade 3 of Council’s salary system ($947.03 - $1,082.32) per week depending on qualifications and experience.
