GIS ASSETS OFFICER

·        Salary range $74,489 to $86,230 + Super

·        9 Day Fortnight

·        Permanent Fulltime role  

·        Closing date 5pm Monday 11 April 2022

This is an exciting opportunity for a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) specialist to join our assets team. The position is responsible for analysing, maintaining and enhancing Council’s spatial data, mapping, infrastructure information and databases. This includes some inspections and data capturing related to Council’s assets.

Ideally the successful applicant will have demonstrated Geographical Information Systems experience in local government, possess knowledge of Exponaire or MapInfo systems, with qualifications in Spatial Information Services preferred. This position would be suitable for those with extensive practical experience.
