TRAINEESHIP - WATER AND WASTE OPERATIONS

·        Nine-day fortnight

·        Full-time, two-year placement

·        Support from a dedicated Skillset consultant during placement

·        Graduate with a nationally recognised qualification

Skillset, in conjunction with the Coonamble Shire Council, seeks applications from individuals to undertake a Water and Waste Operations Traineeship program with Coonamble Shire Council.

The successful candidate will complete a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations over a two-year placement, while receiving practical training from industry experts.

The skills and requirements needed include:

·        Reliable transport to and from work in Coonamble.

·        A White Card (or be willing to obtain one before commencement).

·        Demonstrated ability to work as part of a diverse team, high attention to detail and ability to adapt to changes.

·        Display a keen interest in Water Operations and pursuing it as a career.

·        Driver’s Licence.

·        Show commitment to the study component of the Traineeship

·        Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical, including a drug and alcohol examination prior to commencement.
