Get a ground-level view of the hot news topics in regional NSW and get up close and personal with the people and places behind the stories.

We are a small team who publish a local print and digital edition weekly newspaper (The Coonamble Times) and a mobile news app (The Western Plains App).

You will produce news stories, community/sports reports and promotional features for publication in print, digital editions, and in the App.

You will also be producing audio/video content and using social media.

The successful applicant will be curious and self-motivated to find and produce stories important to our local communities.

Both experienced and entry-level candidates are welcome to apply, including those interested in a cadetship/traineeship. We will assist in finding accommodation. You will need a car and current drivers licence.
