Lachlan and Western Regional Services Inc (formerly Western Plains Regional Development) is seeking a flexible, active, engaging Co-ordinator for our Supported Parents Program (SP) to set up and run the program in Condobolin and/or Lake Cargelligo.

The successful applicant will have the ability to engage parents of disengaged students to become involved and assist in the educational decision making of their children, involve parents and community in increasing their engagement with schools and employment and be able to arrange professional development workshop opportunities for parents where needed.

The position will involve a great deal of flexibility with some early morning starts and evening hours as you will work closely with parents, schools and community services.

This position is funded for two years via the Office of Regional Youth and the Regional Youth Investment Program. 20 hours are allocated to Condobolin High School and 15 hours are allocated to Lake Cargelligo High School.

This may be worked as two part-time positions or one 35 hour a week position working bewtween both towns and will be an extremely rewarding position.
