About Murdi Paaki Services Limited (MPSL)

The Murdi Paaki Regional Assembly created Murdi Paaki Services Limited as the operational arm to support and advocate to equalise the balance of our interactions with the Government and other agencies on behalf of Aboriginal people in the Murdi Paaki Region.


Tenancy Support and Education Program (TSEP)

Community Project Officers will play a critical role in delivering an enhanced, regionally specific response to Aboriginal homelessness. Building on the success of the original TSEP model, these roles provide culturally safe support for Aboriginal social housing tenants and individuals

experiencing or at risk of homelessness.


Key duties include:

  • Housing application assistance and tenancy sustainment
  • Wraparound case management and referrals
  • Community education, engagement and system advocacy
  • Coordination with Link2Home, DCJ Housing and Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS)


These positions service the Murdi Paaki Region, which covers Bourke, Brewarrina, Broken Hill, Cobar, Collarenebri, Coonamble, Dareton/Wentworth, Enngonia, Goodooga, Gulargambone, Ivanhoe, Lightning Ridge, Menindee, Walgett, Weilmoringle and Wilcannia.


Successful applicants will be required to reside in one of the listed communities as part of their role. This role is a great opportunity to help lead service transformation across the Murdi Paaki Region and support our mob to access safe and secure housing.


Full time until 30 June 2026 with the possibility of renewal – subject ongoing to funding.


*Aboriginality is a genuine occupational requirement of the position under section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.

*A National Police History Check and Working with Children Check is essential for this position.
