Your New Role:

Are you passionate about providing quality services for people with disability? Are you flexible and able to manage different priorities? This could be the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full time NDIS Coordinator at Castlereagh Industries in Coonamble. This role will ensure that high quality service provision is delivered in line with the NDIS standards, and that participants have opportunities for greater independence, capacity building and achieving their employment goals. You’ll also be guiding employees with disabilities through their daily work tasks, provide further on the job coaching, support, and mentoring, to build participants capability to meet their employment goals.


You will:

• Develop goals, training, and transition plans in consultation with process workers and support workers.

• Engage internal support functions to assist supported employees attain and maintain organisational compliance and facilitate and contributing to organisations accessibility and DIAP outcomes.

• Ensure appropriate wage and capacity assessments are completed, in addition to risk assessments (including behaviour support plan) to ensure safety and a safe work environment.

• Oversee the coordination of data collection within the service, including reviewing daily, ensuring compliance with current legislative and NDIS registration requirements and organisational processes. Maintain accurate and complete records of participant engagement in work using the client management system.

• Collaborate with the Manager, Castlereagh Industries to provide leadership support in the areas of Behaviour Support Plans, performance management, PPG and Supervision tasks, and aid in facilitating any transitions into open employment.


This position will be responsible for a balanced allocation of responsibilities, with partial workload dedicated to coordination duties and partial workload focused on frontline support work capacity duties.


• Implement supported employee’s individual development plans in the workplace, providing individualised on the job training, support and coaching to them in achieving their employment goals.

• Collaborate with colleagues to optimise production workflows and maximise the participation and engagement of supported employees.

• Ensure and document regular progress updates against employment goals and development plans for Supported Employees.

• Maintain data collection to demonstrate increase or changes in Supported Employee capabilities and to capture productivity.
