The Administration Officer – Water and Asset Management plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery of Council’s infrastructure services.
This includes maintaining accurate records, preparing reports and documentation, assisting with compliance and procurement processes, and coordinating communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
The position ensures efficient day-to-day operations and contributes to informed decision-making and customer satisfaction through consistent administrative systems and timely reporting.
This is a critical role for a Council that is committed to transparency, teamwork, and delivering positive outcomes for the community.
Flexible work arrangements are available, with part-time, school-hours or hybrid working considered to support the right candidate. The position may be based in either Walgett or Lightning Ridge, offering flexibility of location.
