The role of the Executive Assistant to General Manager & Mayor is to provide professional and confidential administration support to the General Manager & Mayor.

Functions include performing a wide variety of administrative tasks. Including but not limited to responding to correspondence, typing reports, collating and distributing Council business papers, minute taking at meetings, taking telephone enquiries/messages, arranging meetings and coordinating the General Manager’s diary and arranging accommodation and travel for the General Manager, Mayor and Councillors.

To be successful in this role, you will be self motivated with a pro-active attitude and possess excellent communication skills (written & verbal), good computer skills and strong personal time management skills. The position may, on occasions require the successful applicant to work outside of normal hours to attend meetings and functions.
