A position exists for a motivated person to join Council’s Finance team. Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Services, this position will be responsible for delivering successful financial outcomes in an accurate and timely manner. Duties include the development and implementation of the Long Term Financial Plan, monitoring annual budgets including the preparation of the quarterly budget review and annual financial statements, the reviewing of policies and procedures relating to finance responsibilities and ensuring that they are effectively communicated to staff.
The successful applicant will possess degree qualifications and experience in accounting, proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, a demonstrated ability to lead and support staff and a current class C drivers licence.
Remuneration is subject to qualifications and experience identified in the position description; grade 7 range $89,583.00 - $121,064.00 per annum.
