A position exists for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Councils’ Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Manager the key responsibilities include all areas of Council’s rating functions such as maintaining land and rating base data for levying rates and charges, timely production of annual and reminder rates notices, supervision of water billing and debt recovery processes.
The successful applicant will possess a qualification in business management or relevant field, excellent time management skills, be able to prepare concise reports, knowledge of property rating, valuation and modelling in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993, and a current class C drivers licence .
Remuneration is subject to qualifications and competencies as identified in the position description; grade 4 range $61,654.00 - $ 75,245.00 per annum.
