The council invites applications for the position of Technical Officer (Urban) to join the Engineering/Technical Services Department. Reporting to the Manger Infrastructure (Urban), the responsibilities of this permanent full time position will be to provide overall team management of water and waste water services and urban maintenance (parks, cemeteries, airport) teams.
The successful applicant will possess a tertiary qualification in water operations or relevant work experience, excellent organisational and leadership skills, a WHS Construction Induction card, class MR driver’s licence and a willingness to be available for on call and call outs.
A vehicle will be offered with the position for work purposes.

Remuneration subject to qualifications and competencies as identified in the Position Description; grade 6 range $79,500.00 - $102,954.00 per annum.
