Council invites applications for the of position of Town Planner to join our Environmental Services Department.
This permanent full time position reports directly to the Director of Environmental Services at Walgett. Responsibilities will include providing efficient development assessment services, providing prompt and professional guidance to applicants, Council and Government agencies on town planning related matters.
Preferred applicants should possess tertiary qualifications in urban and regional planning or related field, excellent written and oral communication skills, proficiency with software such as GIS Software, MS Suite, knowledge of land use planning related skills and a current class C drivers licence.
The successful applicant will be offered assistance with subsidised housing.

Remuneration is subject to qualifications and competencies as identified in the position description Grade 6 range $74,656.00 - $100,936.00
