CASUAL SALES CONSULTANT (FULLY REMOTE) START ASAP 

Job Type: Casual (approximately 12 hours per week with opportunity for expansion) 

Summary: 

• Our regional NSW news media app – the Western Plains App - is seeking a sales star to join the team 
• Fully remote/ work from home opportunity.  
• Training and commission arrangements available.

• We invite external stakeholders to acknowledge, listen, understand and support the people of the western plains of NSW through their challenges and triumphs 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Learn to understand the Western Plains App and the value it offers advertisers and communities 
• Generate leads, build relationships and convert them to paid customers through outbound calling  
• Ask questions and build trust with potential, new and existing clients 
• Contribute to building and maintaining a pipeline of new business and opportunities using a shared online database 
• Ensure strong customer service and positive market presence for the Western Plains App 
• Provide feedback to management and contribute to solution-finding discussions 

Successful Candidates Will Have: 

• Excellent communication and great interpersonal skills and the ability to persuade 
• Ability to listen carefully and learn from our customers 
• Resilience, positive mindset and strong drive to reach personal goals 
• A proactive, organised and self-motivated approach and ability to take responsibility 
• Any B2B, retail, telemarketing, or F2F sales experience would be highly preferred but not essential 
• Understanding of regional and remote NSW communities and business environment is also preferred 
• Full working rights in Australia (PR or Citizen) 
• Access to reliable telephone and internet services
