Police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate the theft of two firearms from a property between Gilgandra and Coonamble.
Police say that they received reports that a .22 long rifle and .410 shotgun had been stolen from a property on Seven Mile Road, Tounderburine, about 61km north of Gilgandra, between 11.30am on Sunday 11 May and 11am on Wednesday 14 May.
They were told that a quad bike, keys and tools were also stolen from a shed on the property.
"As inquiries continue, anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Coonamble Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000," a police spokesperson said.
