Fire has claimed a house in Glen Street Warren after it took hold in the early hours of this morning Tuesday 9 August 2022.
NSW Fire & Rescue received a call at 1.53am and crews from Trangie, Warren and the Rural Fire Service Brigade attended.
On arrival crews found house well alight, with the fire through the roof causing a partial structural collapse.
A HAZMAT truck from Dubbo also attended with extra air cylinders and specialised equipment to help firefighters deal with post-fire clothing decontamination.
The fire was contained by 3.30am but reignited and was finally extinguished by around 5.30am.
The single-storey weatherboard house was destroyed.
Thankfully no one was injured as the house was unoccupied at the time of the fire. So far there is no known cause as investigations get underway.
Neighbours have praised the firefighters for preventing the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings.
A fire on 8 June this year also destroyed a house in Garden Avenue in Warren.
