Appeal to find missing man from Cobar Concerns are held for the welfare of Marc Griffiths, missing from Cobar since yesterday morning.

Police are appealing for public assistance to find a man missing from Cobar.



Marc Griffiths, aged 34, was last seen at his home on Lamrock Street, Cobar about 9am yesterday (Thursday 24 June 2021).


Family members spoke with him via a text message at 1pm. There has been no further contact with Marc since.


Officers from Central North Police District were notified and commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.


Police and family have concerns for Marc’s welfare.


Marc is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of slim build, with blonde hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie jumper with either orange or red writing across the front, blue work pants, brown boots and a grey Fox brand cap.


It is believed Marc maybe driving a 2009 white Nissan Navara displaying New South Wales registration EDE-22A. Written on the rear window of the vehicle is “She’ll be right mate. It’s a NAVARA” with a thumbs up image.


Police are now urging anyone who may have seen him, to call Cobar Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
