Police are investigating after the body of a man was found in water near Warren.

Emergency services were called at about 10:40am on Wednesday 11 December to a property understood to be about 30 kilometres from the town on Marthaguy Road following reports of a body found in the Marathguy Creek.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious.

The Western Plains App understands the man was found on a property belonging to him.

A police spokesperson could not provide further details.
