Bogan Shire General Manager Derek Francis said seniors are an important part of community.
“Seniors Week is an opportunity for all of us to pause and reflect on the contributions that our Seniors have made, and continue to make, in our community.
“Whether it is tirelessly volunteering at one of the numerous tasks that are necessary to keep so many aspects of community going or demonstrating positive values and behaviours to our Youth, our Seniors are integral to a functioning, positive and growing community in the Bogan Shire,” said Mr Francis.
