Police are appealing to the public to locate a person wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant and known to frequent Cobar.

Aaron Hinch, aged 37, is wanted for domestic violence-related assault offences.

Officers attached to Central North Police District are conducting inquiries into his whereabouts.

Aaron is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, large build, about 165cm tall, with black hair, brown eyes and light brown complexion.
