The latest installation of the Warren Shire's public art mural trail was unveiled this month, continuing the campaign to add colour around the community.
The new 2.4m high wrap-around Campdraft/Rodeo Mural was designed by Paint the Town Murals, and adorns the exterior walls of the showground and racecourse’s new joint amenities facility.
Warren Shire's public art murals have made the area a must-see destination on the NSW Mural Trail.
Located across the Shire, the mural series celebrates all aspects of rural life are an eye-catching attraction for those looking to explore arts and culture in regional NSW. The various designs provide insight into the area's rich history and agricultural roots, as well as a reflection of the current local community.
Warren Shire Council reported they were "very pleased to officially unveil the latest mural in the widely popular public art mural series."
The latest eye catching paint work was officially unveiled by Mayor Quigley and Freddy Parker from the Warren Rodeo Horse Committee in a small ceremony.
The artwork stands amongst other new additions to the showground and racecourse, with the new joint amenities facility having opened for females late last year, and male facilities anticipated to be open in February.
This project utilised remaining funds from the Murray Darling Basin Economic Development Round 3 Grants Program, with the Rodeo Horse Committee also donating $10,000 toward the cost of the mural.

Warren has become a backdrop for a wide range of murals, including on the local water tower which is decorated with images that represent the sports that are available in the Carter Oval Youth Sports Precinct. The Public Art on Private Property (PAoPP) mural series was completed 18 months ago, spreading colour across Warren, Nevertire and Collie.
The designs are reflective of the multiple varied elements of life in Warren Shire, and have attracted many visitors to the area.
Mayor of Warren Shire, Councillor Milton Quigley, said the murals have been an effective medium to convey the breadth and significance of the different sides of Warren Shire life.
“The diversity of the designs is a testament to the multifaceted nature of rural communities, particularly our own, and shows exactly why they should be celebrated," Mr Quigley said.
“The murals also provide focal points of interest for all residents and visitors, as well as helping to educate people about our unique community, while enhancing the beautification of our Shire."
The PAoPP murals were installed in key locations across Warren Shire as indicated by the community, including the Warren Post Office, Macquarie Park, Oxley Park, JC’s Cotton Café, Old Bell’s Store, Nevertire Community Park and Collie Tennis Clubhouse.
