Warrumbungle Shire Councillor Kodi Brady says a candlelight vigil to remember and share community love on Friday night for the two boys who passed away in Coonabaraban on Monday will be to show ‘harmony and reunite’.
He says the vigil will be held at the Yarning Circle at Coonabarabran's Nielsen Park.
People invited to bring candles or glow sticks and tell stories to ‘’ Share our love’’ from 5pm.
Results on a post-mortem on two children aged 6 of 7 Sam and Max will come back from the state coroner Thursday 8 May and NSW Assistant Police Commissioner Brad Holland said their grandmother, their sole carer, faces ‘serious charges’.
Police detectives were again scouring the town Wednesday for any evidence in relation to Monday’s tragic discovery of the dead children in Emu Lane.
NSW Police are also waiting for the grandmother to be released from a mental health unit in Orange, when they can question her further.
The case has made national headlines and those who knew them in the township have revealed happy stories about the children and they were popular at the local karate club as the community bands together.
"They were fire crackers, so energetic," Cr Brady said
Local business owner Melinda Thompson  said "The community is wanting answers, what happened that these boys tragically died."
