Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews have extinguished an intense fire that’s destroyed a house at Narromine in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters were called to the Temoin Street property at around 3.15am today.
They found the public housing property engulfed in flames.
The crews, from Narromine, Trangie and Dubbo, set up a defensive perimeter as they battled the blaze for more than an hour.
Firefighters evacuated neighbouring homes as they doused the flames.
The house had been boarded up after fresh renovations and a paint job that finished on Friday.
Those renovations followed another fire at the house around 12 months ago.
Fire crews completed mopping up operations by 6am and handed the site over to NSW Police for further investigation.
