A woman reported missing from Lightning Ridge has been located.

The 44-year-old woman was last seen in Lightning Ridge on Monday 16 February 2026.

She was reported missing on Saturday 21 February, after her car was located abandoned on Glenwood Road, Gilgunnia about 110km south of Cobar.

Following extensive inquiries, she was found about 5pm yesterday (Saturday 28 February 2026) in the Mount Hope area.

There are no further details regarding the woman's condition.
