A Western Region police officer has been charged over allegations of domestic violence and misconduct offences.
The allegations were made in October this year, when officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District commenced an investigation into the alleged domestic violence-related offences.
Following inquiries, a 41-year-old male sergeant attached to the Western Region was issued a Court Attendance Notice on Wednesday 10 November.
He was charged with three counts of stalking and intimidation, intending fear of physical harm, and accessing and modifying restricted data held in a computer.
The officer is next due to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Thursday 17 February, 2022.
His employment status remains under review.
