Allegations of domestic violence and misconduct were made in October.A Western Region police officer has been charged over allegations of domestic violence and misconduct offences.
The allegations were made in October this year, when officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District commenced an investigation into the alleged domestic violence-related offences.
Following inquiries, a 41-year-old male sergeant attached to the Western Region was issued a Court Attendance Notice on Wednesday 10 November.
He was charged with three counts of stalking and intimidation, intending fear of physical harm, and accessing and modifying restricted data held in a computer.
The officer is next due to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Thursday 17 February, 2022.
His employment status remains under review.
