A LOCAL woman has told Lotteries officers she's barely slept a wink since discovering she'd won more than $800,000 in the Saturday Lotto draw.

The Coonamble mother held one of six division one winning entries in draw number 4301, drawn on Saturday 8 October, and took home a division one prize of $875,660.18.

It has been a number of years since Coonamble has seen a first division prize awarded.

Confirming her life-changing win with an official from The Lott, the elated woman confessed she’d already created a list of things to do with her prize now her life had changed forever.

“This is unreal! I’m still struggling to come to terms with what’s happened,” she laughed.

“I honestly haven’t really slept since I discovered the win on Saturday night.

“I’d been crossing off each number when I jumped up and yelled out to my daughter, ‘I’ve won the lottery!’.

“She laughed and didn’t believe me at first because I’ve joked about this before.

“But this time, it was real!

“It means everything to me. I’ll share it with my daughter. We’ll travel, renovate the house and maybe buy a new car.

“It gets warm during summer in Coonamble, so I think I’ll upgrade my home’s air conditioning and have a very comfortable life!

“Thanks so much. This is amazing!”

The winning entry was purchased at Coonamble Supa IGA, 63 Aberford Street, Coonamble.

The team at Coonamble Supa IGA said they were elated for their winner and wished them all the best for their future.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4301 on 8 October 2022 were 37, 17, 45, 20, 33 and 23, while the supplementary numbers were 18 and 22.

The Coonamble winner, who is hoping to keep her identity under wraps, shared her win with six others - two each in New South Wales and Queensland, and one each in Victoria and Western Australia.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 348 so far this calendar year, including 95 won by NSW Lotteries customers.

In the year to June 2022, Saturday Lotto created 196 millionaires across Australia.

During this time, there were 324 division one winning in Saturday Lotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $461.69 million.
