A man was airlifted to Tamworth Base Hospital last night after a quad bike accident at a location between Coonamble and Warren.

NSW Ambulance and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter were called to a location in the Marthaguy area at around 8:30pm yesterday evening (Saturday 28 October) after reports that a man in his 50s had been injured in a quad bike accident.

The man had suffered multiple injuries and was treated by paramedics and the helicopter's critical care medical team being airlifted to Tamworth Hospital.
