Man charged with supply after Nyngan drug bust

A man is set to face court today over alleged drug supply after police seized methamphetamine from a home in Nyngan.

Police said that detectives investigating alleged drug supply in the area carried out a search warrant at the house in Oxley Street at about 7:30am on Thursday 18 December.

A spokesperson said they also seized cash, power tools and a mobile.

The 29-year-old was taken to Nyngan Police Station and charged with 17 offences including stealing, drug supply and driving while disqualified.

He was refused bail to appear in court on 19 December.

"Police will allege in court that the man was involved in possessing and supplying about 22g of drugs consisting of Methylamphetamine, cocaine and cannabis, since October this year," the police spokesperson said.

"Inquiries under Strike Force Clavin continue."
