Man critically injured after crash in CobarA motorcycle rider has been airlifted to hospital in Sydney after suffering critical injuries from a crash with a Toyota Prado on Tuesday night. Police are currently investigating the incident.

Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash in Cobar yesterday evening, which left one man critically injured.


About 10.15pm on Tuesday 26 October 2021, emergency services were called to the intersection of Morrison and Marshall Streets in Cobar following reports a motorcycle and Toyota Prado had collided.


The 32-year-old motorcycle rider suffered critical injuries and was taken to Cobar Hospital before being airlifted to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney.


The Toyota driver, a 40-year-old woman, was taken to Cobar Hospital for mandatory testing.


Officers from Central North Police District have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
