Police are currently appealing for public assistance following a break and enter at a business in Cobar last week.
Sometime between 12:30am and 3am on Thursday 30 June 2022, a man forced entry to a store on Marshall Street and fled a short time later taking approximately $2000 worth of clothing and footwear and a sum of cash.
Officers from Central North Police District were notified and commenced investigations.
As inquiries continue, police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with investigations.
He was last seen wearing a blue football jersey around the time of the incident. An image of the man can be seen below.
Police would also like to speak to the driver of a truck, who may be able to assist with inquiries. The truck is described as having a brown body with black stripes transporting cars.
It is believed that the male in the blue jersey exited the vehicle around 9pm in Cobar.
