A man has been charged following a Firearm Prohibition Order (FPO) search in Narromine last week.

About 9am on Wednesday 27 March 2024, officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended a home on Old Backwater Road, Narromine, to execute a FPO search.

During a search of the home, officers located drugs when they stopped the FPO search and executed a search warrant.

The 48-year-old man has been detained and is being referred to Australian Border Force.

The man appeared at Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday 27 March 2024, where he was formally refused bail to appear at Narromine Local Court on Thursday 9 May 2024.
