Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Mitchell Highway in Bourke this weekend for the Easter Street Parade.

The Easter Street Parade is the key event of the Back O’ Bourke Easter Festival and will take place this Saturday 16 April.

Motorists are advised that a road closure will be in place on the Mitchell Highway from Anson Street to Tarcoon Street between 6am and 1.30pm on Saturday, with a detour in place via Tarcoon Street.

Additional changed traffic conditions will also be in place on local roads.

Motorists are advised to obey signs and the instruction of traffic control, and allow extra travel time.
