Narromine farmer wants a wife"Farmer Andrew" from Narromine is looking for love in this season's '"Farmer wants a Wife".

"Farmer Andrew" from Narromine is one of the new crop of rural hopefuls looking for a life partner on Channel 7's upcoming season of "Farmer wants a Wife."

Andrew grew up on a farm at Yass and now calls Narromine home where he loves the outdoor lifestyle and says it’s a great place to live. Andrew describes himself as not the average farmer.

"I always strive toward being a better man. Easy going, fun, loyal, hardworking, engaging, and honest. I believe the key to a fulfilling and rewarding life is following my heart with commitment and passion, and that my choices and actions create my future," he said.

Andrew, 41 is a mixed crop and sheep farmer who attends a local gym a couple of times a week and enjoys music, saying it can "take you to another place."

"I have an eclectic taste in music, from rock to pop, from folk to alternative/ indie and really pay attention when it includes brilliant lyrics, superb voices and a nice beat," he said.

Andrew admits it can be lonely on the farm and would really like someone to come home to.

"I have seen and experienced a lot, from city life to the outback, from an office environment to the outdoors, to now being my own boss and feeling very at home with life on the land," he says.

"All my experiences have created the person I am today, and that is someone with a big heart, a cheeky smile, a passion for life and someone who is reward focused, and ready for more challenges, more reward, and more opportunities to grow."

"Also in the process of acquiring another property near the coast, and developing my surfing skills. I believe I can tap into a niche market with what I produce, and I can offer more to the world beyond the farm. I dream big, look at the bigger picture, and know that the only way is forward," he said.

Andrew joins six other farmers in his quest for love, two of whom are also from NSW. Farmer wants a Wife premieres in the next few months.
