The Nyngan Tigers have easily won the ‘battle of the border teams’ piling on a 7 try demolition of Lithgow Workies at their home ground.on Saturday 3 May.


The home track advantage awarding a 42-12 victory.



Nyngan began the match well with hooker Aidan Birmingham dashing through to open the scoring.


Lithgow did bounce back to score but it was one way traffic after that.


Winger Ashley Davies skirted the touch lines to race over and second rower Cameron Bourke bustled his way over as the Tigers took control of the midfield.


Five eight Will Black surged over next and lock Jacob O’Neil and prop Billy Quarmby also scored as Nyngan’s forwards dominated.



Matty McDougal kicked 7 conversions from 7 attempts, an impeccable display as the Tiger’s showed if they are at their best they are a force in the competition.


Nyngan’s League Tag side also produced an easy win 24-14 five tries to 3 Grace Farmilo grabbing two.


In Under 18’s, the Tigers who have been battling for player numbers were thrashed 48 nil but the Reserve Graders big winners 62- nil.
