Police appeal following Coonamble service station armed robberyPolice from the Orana Mid-Western Police District are appealing for information to help in their investigation of an armed robbery at a Coonamble service station on Monday morning.

NSW police are appealing for information from the local community following a service station armed robbery at Coonamble yesterday morning.


Police were told a man armed with a knife entered the service station on Aberford Street, shortly after 5am on Monday 5 July.


He threatened the attendant, a 36-year-old man, before stealing cash and leaving the scene. The attendant was not physically injured.


Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended the scene and commenced inquiries.


As investigations continue, police would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.


He is described as being about 170-180cm tall, of medium build and has a tanned complexion. He was last seen wearing a green hooded jumper with a black vest, black tracksuit pants, a royal blue coloured cap, black joggers and was wearing a mask on his face.
