Police are appealing to locate a man missing from Walgett over the weekend.

Forty-seven-year-old Timothy Doolan was last seen at Walgett Hospital about 6.30pm on Sunday 1 June.

Officers with the Central North Police District were notified and began inquiries into his whereabouts.

"Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to him living with a number of health conditions," a police spokesperson said.

"Timothy is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 190cm tall, solid build, short white hair and blue eyes.

"He was last seen wearing a navy blue t-shirt, dark long pants and dark shoes."

Police says Timothy is known to frequent the Walgett area.

They are urging anyone with information to ring Walgett Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
