Hundreds of sheep have been stolen from a property north-east of Collarenebri, prompting an investigation by the Rural Crime Prevention Team.
Approximately 300 Merino ewes are believed to have been stolen between July and December 2023.
The Rural Crime Prevention Team and the Central North Police District are seeking assistance from the public to help locate the ewes.
“The ewes are tagged with a mix of yellow, black, pink and green tags featuring ‘Karoola’ and ‘NJ560452’,” a statement from NSW Police said.
“The sheep have also been marked with a green ‘K’ on their back and have all been ear marked.”
