Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man wanted on an outstanding warrant in the state’s Central North.

Kelvin Morris – aged 35 – is wanted on an outstanding warrant for assault, stalking and malicious damage offences.

Officers from the Central North Police Area Command have since commenced an investigation to locate Mr Morris.

He is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 180cm tall, of medium build, with black hair and brown eyes. An image of Mr Morris can be seen below:

Mr Morris is known to frequent the Lightening Ridge area. Anyone with information relating to his whereabouts is urged to not approach him but contact Triple Zero (000).
