Search continues for Tottenham woman on Mt CanobolasThe search continues for missing Tottenham woman Esther Wallace

The search continues this weekend for Tottenham resident Esther Wallace, 47, in the Mount Canobolas area near Orange.


Ms Wallace went missing on the morning of Wednesday 30 November after becoming separated from her partner on the Federal Falls trail.


NSW Police Force Rescue and NSW SES have been searching through thick scrub and rocky bushland for Ms Wallace, who was last seen wearing an orange jacket, black pants and sandals.

About 8am on Wednesday (30 November 2022), emergency services responded to reports that a woman had become separated from a companion while bushwalking at Federal Falls through the Mount Canobolas State Recreation Area, about 20km south-west of Orange.


Officers from Central West Police District commenced a large-scale search of the area, supported by the Police Rescue and Bomb Disposal Unit, PolAir, Chifley Rural Crime Investigators, as well as NSW SES, Cabonne Council, NSW Parks and Wildlife Service and Forestry NSW.


The search is continuing amid increasing concerns for Ms Wallace's wellbeing.


Esther Wallace, aged 47, is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with blonde hair.


Police are urging locals to be on the look out for Esther in the event that she has left the area and made her way into Orange.


A geo-targeting alert was issued on Wednesday for the township of Orange.
