Traffic flow is still slow at the site of a two car crash which occurred before 11:47am this morning on the Newell Highway north of Gilgandra.

The accident happened near Biddon between Avondale Rd and Biddon Forest Rd.

Both directions of traffic were closed while a rescue unit worked on freeing a trapped person.
