A 14-year-old boy was charged today (Friday 21 November) after vandalising classrooms and stealing from a Condobolin school earlier this month.

Between 1.30 and 3.20am on Tuesday 11 November multiple classrooms were vandalised and several electronic devices were taken.

Police established the crime scene when they were called to the location around 7.45 the same morning.

Over an hour later, detectives found four laptops, four tablet devices along with four power cables on McDonell Street and Molong Street, Condobolin.

The investigation was ongoing until yesterday.

Police arrested a 14-year-old boy around 2pm, and he was charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling, and two counts of destroy or damage property.

He was granted conditional bail to appear before a children’s court on Wednesday 4 February 2026.

Police say further arrests are anticipated.
