A man will face court today (Friday 16 July 2021) charged after police seized gel blasters from a home in the state’s west.

About 8am earlier today, officers attached to Western Region Enforcement Squad – Orana attended a home in Tottenham, following reports that multiple gel blasters - which are illegal in New South Wales - were stored at the premises.

During the search, officers seized four firearms and ammunition.


A 19-year old man was then taken to Narromine Police Station and charged with four counts of possess unauthorised prohibited firearm, possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority and

possess unregistered firearms.


He was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court later today.
