Drivers are warned that the Barrier Highway is closed west of Cobar and they will need to take alternate routes for their travel in the area.

Diversions available westbound from Cobar: Kidman Way to Goolgowi, Mid-Western Highway to ay and Cobb Highway to Wilcannia.

Eastbound from Wilcannia: Cobb Highway to Hay, Mid-Western Highway to Goolgowie and Kidman Way to Cobar.
